They may already be giving another way. If they are not ready, thank them without pressure. Do not ask them to explain personal circumstances.
03 · KEEP DETAILS PRIVATE
Record only what is needed for the next step. Never ask for or record card, bank, identity or medical information. Keep voicemail and conversations with other people general.
04 · RESPECT THE ANSWER
Record requests for no further calls promptly. Agree on timing before scheduling a callback. Use the official donation site if they would like to start a new pledge.

SMALL REAL-RECORD PILOT
Up to 20 past one-time donors and three volunteers. Eligible donors are queued automatically using fresh giving and contact checks and their address-based time zone. Uncertain records stay on hold for coordinator review.
DONORPERFECT PILOT
Review the outcome, approve the information, and check delivery. DonorPerfect is checked before calls. No-call requests set SMRO_NO_CALL to Yes.
Call notes and follow-ups stay encrypted in this portal. They are not copied into DonorPerfect during this pilot.
TELEPHONE PREFERENCES
Checking the DonorPerfect field setup.
Yes blocks calls. Website opt-outs stop assignments immediately and queue a Yes for DonorPerfect. Sync never automatically clears a restriction; No alone does not establish permission to call. Email and postal preferences are separate.
BEFORE THE NEXT CALL
Recent gifts, active or pending pledges, unresolved payments, contact restrictions, shared phones and incomplete or stale source checks hold a donor from the win-back queue. A no-call request stops further assignments locally as soon as the call is saved.
APPROVED OUTCOMES
Only the dedicated no-call field is sent to DonorPerfect. Notes and follow-ups remain in this portal. No messages or payments are sent.
CONVERSION SCORING · DEFERRED
SMRO rules: 100 points for a confirmed one-time gift, 250 total for starting monthly giving, then 100 more after the third successful monthly payment. Gifts must follow an eligible call within 30 days. Refunds remove the related credit.
Only payment confirmation can earn these bonuses. A pledge promise or volunteer’s own report earns no conversion points. There is no live payment connection.
